FAQ

  • So, what do you do, exactly?

We are a team of dog lovers who provide day-of pet attendant services for your wedding. In other words, if you want your dog at your wedding, we make it happen and make sure they’re happy, safe, and taken care of during the event.

  • What is a wedding pet attendant/dog handler?

A wedding pet attendant or dog handler is someone who takes care of your pet and helps them participate in the events of a wedding.

  • What makes you different from a service like Rover or a dog walker?

Our team of dog handlers specifically provide day-of care for weddings by accompanying the dog during your ceremony and reception. We do not provide boarding or regular dog walking services.

  • How do your packages work?

We typically build our packages based on an hourly rate. However, we understand that not all weddings are the same and are happy to work with you to create the best package for your big day.

  • Do you train dogs to walk down the aisle, do a first dance, etc.?

Since we spend a limited time with the dogs, we do not see ourselves as dog trainers. We are there to assist with the day-of events of the wedding.

  • Do you offer overnight boarding?

No, we do not provide overnight boarding. We can bring them to their overnight boarding location as a part of our services, though.

  • Do you provide grooming?

We do not provide grooming services, but we can recommend some great groomers in the Seattle area.

  • Do you have travel limitations?

Our standard package covers up to 20 miles of travel from Downtown Seattle, but we are happy to travel further for an additional cost. Depending on your venue location, overnight accommodation may also be required for our dog handlers.

  • Do you provide outfits?

Yes, we provide dog clothing and accessory rentals as a part of our standard package. Let us know your dog’s size and we’ll bring outfit options for them to try on during the meet and greet.

  • Can I have my dog at my wedding?

This is an important question to ask your venue. There are sometimes limitations on how long the dog can stay—for example, once food comes out they need to leave—so be sure to check with your venue. If your venue is not dog-friendly, we can help include your dogs in wedding photos at a different location. We can also help include your dog in your engagement photos if they can’t be at the wedding.

  • What role can my dog play at my wedding?

We’ve helped dogs wag down the aisle as the flower girl or best dog. We’ve also helped them act as a greeter before guests get seated for the ceremony or just be present for wedding photos. Let us know what role you have in mind, and we’ll make it happen.

  • Can a dog walk you down the aisle?

Absolutely! We’ve seen pups escort their mom and dad down the aisle.

  • What should I do with my dog after the wedding ceremony?

We can transport them back to your home/Airbnb/hotel or boarding location. We can also hang out with them at the venue if your dog prefers to have a buddy.

  • What if I want my cat at my wedding?

We can make that happen! We have a designated cat handler on our team.

  • How far in advance should we book your services?

The earlier the better. Like other wedding vendors, we are booking far in advance and we are already booking 2024 weddings.

  • How do I know if you're available on my wedding date?
